I’m taking a break from making my vehicles to try something new. Custom beer taps! Choose from handles or fully mechanical taps.
The custom handle features a leather stamping of their logo, encased in a large, weathered hex nut. The handle structure continues the hex nut theme using threaded rods and hex nut construction. The assembly was artificially aged using a simple rusting technique, then sprayed over with clearcoat. Your handle may not be leather and rust if it doesn’t fit your theme but can be anything unique to your logo or theme.
The mechanical tap features gears, linkages, and a custom miniature ball screw to impart linear and rotational motion of the large hex nut as it rises to the top during a pour. A custom hemp rope style handle adds to the old-fashioned theme. "Rusty the Squirrel" was converted from 2D to 3D and he stands atop the main structure with a beer in his hand, ready for a toast as the banner proclaims "bust-a-nut."
Your custom mechanical tap could be entirely different, using chains and sprockets, cams, fluid power, gears, magnets, or whatever fits your theme. Banner or no banner.
Put one in your jockey box for mobile events, in your own bar, mancave, a gift for a friend, or just have a display unit for show (add a display stand). Choose from just a handle to full blown motion.
These can be configured so the action is on either side of the handle for customer facing taps along the bar, or front facing for taps against the wall.
Have one or many made for your own beer brand or franchise locations. Ideal for bars, mobile events, mancaves, or as a display piece. A perfect keepsake for the bride and groom at a wedding, a retiree at their retirement party, or a 21+ birthday party gift. Let them keep the tap!
